A practicing herbalist and mentor in Newport RI since 1996, Kay sits with clients of all ages
in her loft seeing practical ways to 'the heart of the matter'.

HERBAL FOCUS
Since the early 90's she has been deeply called and intensely engaged in understanding
the specific  properties of herbs and their energetics for healing.

Her INTERNSHIPS & TRAINING have also focused on:

Seeing subtle changes in bodily appearance and gestures.
Using pulse, tongue and facial line to better see the body.
Engaging in years of daily experience with clients.
Honing a natural intuitive ability.
Making custom herbal formulation, and
Integrating how all this is realted to the unique life of each person.

BACKGROUND
Kay grew up in the Pacific Northwest and brings a Bachelors in Education, a Masters in Art Education
and three decades of calligraphy practice and teaching to an understanding and compassion for each
individual's creative learning process in life.

To her TEACHERS she is profoundly grateful for their generosity of spirit, time and patience:

plants themselves and especially to Margi Flint and Karyn Sanders for their continued mentoring,

PROFESSIONALLY
Kay is a Professional Member of the American Herbalist Guild. She has offered Herbal Consultations at the
International Herb Symposium, taught at the Women's Herbal Conference and 'Living in Practice' at 
Earthsong Herbals in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
